“When we looked to change our original Clayton unit it was an easy decision to remain with Clayton for the replacement.

Having had 20 years of reliable service from the steam generator, backed up by the service and tech support from Clayton, going elsewhere just didn’t make sense. Beyond checking the water quality and chemical levels, they really are very user friendly, being fully modulating and able to provide steam to process very quickly, even after cold start up.

Also, when we looked at installing an additional steam generator at a new installation at our sister site, it was Clayton again that we turned to provide the solution.”

In the summer of 2004 Baileys installed their first Clayton steam generator, producing 1500 kg steam per hour. This was a skid-mounted unit with all ancillary equipment on the same frame. This was replaced in 2024 with our latest model — the same steam capacity, but with more advanced controls and a Low NOx burner.
