Commissioning services

Getting your Clayton Steam Generator up and running safely, efficiently and on time requires a structured approach. Our certified commissioning engineers support you through every phase, from initial checks to full operator handover.

We begin with pre-commissioning verification. This includes an installation review, confirmation of utility connections and water-treatment readiness, and inspection of all instrumentation and controls.

Next, we carry out safety and control checks. All interlocks, alarms, shutoff functions and permissive sequences are tested according to manufacturer specifications.

Commissioning services for a safe and efficient steam generator start-up

During start-up, our experts calibrate the burner and combustion system, set feedwater and level controls, and optimise the unit’s performance under load. Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) confirm the unit is operating to required standards.

All results are documented in a comprehensive commissioning report, including test records and final settings. We also provide on-site training for operators, covering daily use, start and stop procedures, and routine maintenance.

If you need more than commissioning, we offer a turnkey service. This includes coordination with your installers, water-treatment partner and BMS or PLC integrator. We also provide method statements and site risk assessments such as HAZOP.
