The food industry is subject to strict hygiene regulations that closely monitor the entire food processing chain. The use of process heat in the form of steam and hot water is essential to ensure maximum quality of food products. "At Clayton, we offer steam generators on demand that are capable of producing dry steam of exceptional quality (saturation to 99.5% dryness), says Laurent Sabate, technical salesman. We have a very wide range of generators with constant pressure production capacities ranging from 60 kilos/hour up to 20 tonnes/hour from 6 barg to 150 barg."

Significant energy savings

“We also stand out in terms of energy savings, says Laurent Sabate. Our steam generators, which can run on oil, natural gas, propane, biogas or a mix of energies, consume very little energy and allow undeniable water savings. In addition, unlike traditional boilers, which need to remain on hot standby to avoid long start-up times, our models can be switched on and off on demand depending on whether you need steam for one hour, two hours or more. Being able to produce heat accurately in this way results in energy savings of at least 15%.” For some of its customers who use a lot of dry steam, these savings can be as high as 40%! With such savings, Clayton's products obviously pay for themselves very quickly. Finally, to meet specific needs, the company is also able to supply complete containerised boiler rooms with a fully autonomous steam supply system. These containers can be moved from one point to another and connected on site quickly.

Extensive services

On-site commissioning throughout France, operator training, maintenance contracts, water analysis, steam generator rental, renovations, remote monitoring, etc. Clayton also offers a wide range of services in addition to selling equipment. "We are also increasingly offering turnkey solutions," says Laurent Sabate. “We are thus able to carry out a project from A to Z, particularly in the context of the complete renovation of a boiler or simply for the installation of a new boiler room.”
