Clayton of Belgium NV

Clayton of Belgium NV is the company’s long standing European base and serves as the headquarters for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Established on 31 January 1961 in Bornem, Belgium, the site became one of Clayton Industries’ earliest manufacturing locations outside the United States and has remained a central hub for production, engineering, and logistics supporting regional industrial markets.

Our History in Bornem

Since 1961, Clayton has had a permanent presence in Bornem, Belgium, where Clayton of Belgium NV functions as the headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). From this location, we have built steam systems and engineered industrial steam solutions for six decades, establishing a central hub for European production and regional support. 

Over more than sixty years along the Rijksweg in Bornem, Clayton of Belgium has become an integral part of the global Clayton organisation. In 2025, the company entered a new chapter with the development of a modern, energy-efficient production facility designed to drive innovation and support long-term growth. The new site is focused on advanced technologies, electric steam generation and low-carbon solutions, further reinforcing Clayton’s leadership in steam technology across EMEA markets. 

From Bornem, we continue to serve customers throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, delivering compact, efficient and safe steam generation systems tailored to local and international industrial needs.

As the operational centre for the EMEA region, Clayton of Belgium combines advanced manufacturing with engineering expertise and regional coordination to deliver tailored steam solutions and comprehensive customer support.
