A centre for innovation in infectious disease research

The Clayton team recently visited Vaccinopolis, the impressive and ultra-modern research facility on the University of Antwerp campus. This pioneering site focuses on accelerating research into infectious diseases and vaccine evaluation, with particular attention to clinical trials and safety.

During an inspiring tour led by Bart Van Meerbergen, Head of Operations at Vaccinopolis, we gained unique insights into the operation and organisation of the centre. Vaccinopolis combines clinical research, specialised laboratories and multidisciplinary expertise in one integrated infrastructure – a facility recognised worldwide as a benchmark.

Reliable steam, essential for precision

For this advanced facility, Clayton supplied an electric steam generator type V-15 (150 kWe).

This system features fully modulating, thyristor-controlled power regulation, providing a highly accurate, energy-efficient and dependable steam supply.

In a research environment where control and precision are critical, this is the perfect match. Clayton’s technology supports Vaccinopolis in maintaining the highest quality standards in their research processes.
