We are proud to announce a strategic collaboration between Saltes and Clayton, a global leader in industrial steam systems. Clayton is renowned for delivering on-demand steam to industries such as food processing, manufacturing, and more — where fluctuating steam demand is part of daily operations.

This aligns seamlessly with the Saltes ThermalPod: a molten salt heat battery designed to supply flexible, decarbonized steam precisely when and where it’s needed.

What makes this collaboration even stronger is our shared commitment to modular, skid-based system design. This approach allows for fast deployment and easy integration into existing industrial environments.

As part of the partnership:

Clayton will build the integrated steam modules for the ThermalPod, ensuring steam is always delivered at the right temperature and pressure.
We will jointly develop optimized solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects, with the goal of minimizing the Levelized Cost of Heat (LCOH) for end users.

By combining molten salt storage with proven steam expertise, Saltes and Clayton are paving the way toward cost-effective, low-carbon industrial heat.
